Almost 5 Months

Almost 5 months and 70 lbs. kicked to the curb. The scale started moving again... FINALY!

That's the good news.

The bad news?

I was laid-off this week. My last day is April 30th. 12 weeks of severance for my almost 7 years of service. There was a 10% cut of IT in North America; lucky me.

I don't feel much like making an entry (for obvious reasons), but I am around and I am Okay. :)

PS: Barman, thanks for keeping the "Girls" in perspective. LOL You're so funny!

Oh where, oh where???

Things have been a little crazy lately. I've had little time for much else besides work and keeping up with things at home, but I thought it time for a quick update.

Things at work are the same; pretty busy as usual. I'm counting down the days until the end of the fiscal year when I can officially resign from leading our Internal Events Team. I enjoy doing it, but I just don't have the time desperately needed to focus on some personal goals.

Weight loss is going well. My trainer measured me last night. More inches lost, and 70 lbs. now gone (I have to update my ticker). The coolest thing is, I've gone from 50-something % body fat to 38% body fat! Whoohoo.

My 18 pants are getting loose, and I just bought a slew of new tops in 14/16! I must admit though, when I look down at my chest and can see my feet, I realize just how little my "girls" are now.

Still making plans for my "40 and Fab" birthday trip to Vegas. Looks like we're going to stay at the Venetian.
